The Horsell Kitchen opened its doors on the 3rd February 2020, which was an exciting time for both the owners and the Village! I’m not alone when I say I was super excited to see what delicious food was coming to our lovely village.
It was great to be there on the first day of trading. They had a steady flow of customers throughout the day and there were a lot of happy customers. The guys from Boz’s Fruit and Veg popped in for a cuppa-to-go, the lovely Geeta from The ArtHouse came in for a coffee and Esther from The Goldfinch Kitchen popped over to show her support.
The Horsell Kitchen is owned by the lovely couple, Joanna and John. It was originally a catering business, offering catering and private dinner party services. Joanna and John decided to take it to the next level and The Horsell Kitchen now serves all day brunches and monthly supper clubs at their premises on the High Street. This is in addition to their catering business.
The cafe has a lovely, spacious feel to it and the variety of food on their menu is amazing! From a full English breakfast, vegan options, grains, pancakes/waffles, to delicious cakes, with gluten free options. They also provide a a great range of snacks for your little ones to enjoy. You see lots of friendly and familiar faces and the place has a great vibe.
The cafe is located on the High Street in Horsell and its opening hours are:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 4:00pm.
It is a great place for mums to meet before or after the school run for a well deserved cuppa and cake, for office workers for brunch meetings, or pop in there for a warm cuppa after you’ve been for your morning run.
I think The Horsell Kitchen is definitely going to be the ‘place to be’ in our village.
Hope to see you there!
