If I have one regret during my pregnancies, it was not having professional photographs taken. Maternity photography is usually overlooked, because we are busy getting ready for the arrival of our little bundle of joy. It is also a time when we may be feeling tired, bloated and uncomfortable and being in front of the camera is generally the last thing we want to do!
However, having professional maternity photos taken, really is the start of your baby’s story of life. As they start to start to grow up, they will begin to become curious about the time when they lived in Mummy’s tummy and you will want them to have beautiful photos to look through as you tell them stories.
Our bodies go through such incredible changes during pregnancy and I think capturing this time is just as important for expectant mums, as the newborn sessions and beyond, that come afterwards.
My maternity session’s are about feeling beautiful and providing you with gorgeous, timeless memories to look back on. This is what I absolutely love creating for all of my stunning clients and my job as a photographer, is to make you look and feel amazing.
The best time for a maternity session is during your last trimester, between 32-36 weeks.
The session includes:
There is a £99 non refundable booking fee required in order to secure your booking. This will be deducted from your final order.
ALL high resolution, fully edited digital images on a beautiful USB (15-20)
High resolution slideshow with your images
Ten 5’x7′ mounted professional prints, selected from your chosen digitals
£100 credit towards wall art purchase
£50 off newborn session
10 high resolution, fully edited digital images on a beautiful USB

After your 20 week scan. The best and recommended time for the session is between 34-36 weeks. However, I have photographed expectant mums who were 39 weeks! It all depends on how you are feeling and how your pregnancy is going.
Maternity sessions take between 1- 1.5 hours, depending on if there are children and/or husbands/partners who are to be included in the shoot.
If you would like me to arrange for hair and makeup, I am more than happy to do this with a make up artist/hairstylist, who will come to the studio. An additional fee will apply.
I have some beautiful maternity outfits to choose from which are mainly white and black to fit my style of photography. If there is a special outfit that you would like to be photographed in, bring it along!
In addition to this, I also ask mums to bring:
Don’t worry if you don’t have all of these items. The most important thing you will need to bring to your session, is beige or white underwear (it doesn’t have to be matching though!). However everything else is a nice to have! I remember when I was pregnant, I think I spent most of my time wearing granny knickers! Just bring what you have and we will make it work.
I have a maternity wardrobe, with gorgeous range of gowns, dresses and maternity pieces to choose from.
Wear neutral/beige colours knickers and bra to the session if possible and whatever you feel comfortable in, because you will be getting changed into outfits from my maternity wardrobe during your session.
Please keep your nails natural looking, avoiding any bright, block coloured nail polish. We want your images to remain timeless.
Bring along your makeup bag, hairspray and brush with you too!
Yes. However, with the new safety measures due to Covid, I can only take one studio session per weekend.
